Dr. Dirk Then

Dr. Dirk Then serves as CEO and a member of the executive board of the holding company noventic GmbH, as well as managing director of KALORIMETA GmbH.

Until he joined noventic GmbH in December 2019, Dr. Dirk Then served for five years as the chief operating officer of various medium-sized portfolio companies within the Lübeck-based Possehl Group. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic realignment and digital transformation of the companies he led across various industries.

Dr. Dirk Then began his professional career at DAW SE before moving to the Munich-based management consulting firm Barkawi Management Consultants in 2012. There, he advised various international blue-chip companies on strategy and operational excellence.

Dr. Dirk Then, who holds a degree in chemistry, earned his Ph.D. in physics from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. He was born in 1973, is married, and has one son.
