Christmas fundraising campaign: #wärmegeben in Hamburg

Poorly insulated' and #GivingWarmth are two slogans with which Hanseatic Help is drawing attention to the needs of Hamburg's needy. Exactly our theme. Because while the weather outside is miserable, we continue to work in the warmth to ensure that Germany finally heats in a climate-friendly way. But many people can neither make themselves a hot cup of tea nor turn up the thermostat to their heart's content.

That's why this year we're supporting the campaign of the charity Hanseatic Help together with employees, management and our canteen in Hamburg.

The commitment of our employees has a long tradition. From a Christmas tree full of children's wishes, this year again at QUNDIS, to the Hamburger Tafel and 'Der Hafen hilft!

We are working with the charity Hanseatic Help to make sure that many Hamburg residents have fewer worries during the festive season and that everyone has warm hands and feet. Since 2015, this organisation has been providing straightforward help in and around Hamburg and beyond. From their large logistics centre in Hamburg, they distribute donations free of charge to more than 300 organisations for people in need.

By asking the association directly, we were able to agree on what is currently lacking. In this way, we can ensure that our aid arrives and does some good. Once again, practical and seasonal items are in demand.

Our donations in kind make everyday life easier for people in vulnerable situations in and around Hamburg, including refugees and homeless people, families on low incomes and in children's homes, women's refuges and social advice centres.

We are therefore collecting donations in kind from our employees until January. From warm clothing to everyday items, especially for children, this campaign is intended to give many Hamburg residents a more carefree life during and after the Christmas season. #einfachhelfen.

This winter, our management will provide additional warmth in the form of sleeping bags and blankets, which will be distributed via Hanseatic Help.
